A Prophet Sent with a Message 🌿

Prophet Yunus (AS) was sent to guide the people of Nineveh, a city filled with disbelief and arrogance. Despite his efforts, they rejected his message. Frustrated and heartbroken, Yunus (AS) left them — before Allah commanded him to do so.

It was a moment of human emotion — something every believer can relate to. Yet even prophets, the most patient of men, are tested in ways that reveal their humanity and deepen their closeness to Allah.

The Storm and the Whale 🌊

As Yunus (AS) boarded a ship to escape his sorrow, a great storm struck. The people on board feared for their lives, believing someone had angered Allah. After drawing lots, Yunus (AS) was chosen and thrown into the raging sea — where a massive whale swallowed him whole.

Inside the belly of the whale, surrounded by darkness — the sea above, the whale around, and the night beyond — Yunus (AS) realized his mistake. He was alive, but utterly helpless. And in that moment of complete surrender, his heart turned entirely to Allah.

The Dua That Shines Through Darkness ✨

From the depths, Yunus (AS) called out:

“La ilaha illa Anta, Subhanaka, inni kuntu minaz-zalimeen.”
There is no god but You; Glory be to You; indeed, I was among the wrongdoers.
— Surah Al-Anbiya (21:87)

Prophet Ayyub (AS) is one of the most beautiful examples of patience and unwavering faith in the face of unimaginable hardship. His story teaches children and adults alike that true belief in Allah is tested not when life is easy — but when everything we love is taken away.

The Blessed Life Before the Test

Prophet Ayyub (AS) was blessed with everything people desire — health, wealth, land, and a loving family. He was kind, generous, and grateful to Allah for every blessing. But like all prophets, his faith was destined to be tested.

The Trial Begins 🌧️

One by one, Ayyub (AS) lost his wealth, his home, and even his children. Then came the hardest test of all — a painful illness that left him weak and isolated. Yet through it all, his heart never turned away from Allah.

While others may have complained, Ayyub (AS) continued to remember Allah with love. His tongue never stopped saying “Alhamdulillah.”

His Wife’s Devotion 💕

Throughout his long illness, his devoted wife stayed by his side. She cared for him, supported him, and reminded him that Allah never forgets His servants. Together, they showed what true love and faith look like — standing strong through pain, not just ease.

The Dua That Changed Everything 🌸

After years of silent endurance, Ayyub (AS) raised his hands and made a humble dua:

“Indeed, adversity has touched me, and You are the Most Merciful of the merciful.”
— [Surah Al-Anbiya 21:83]

With that simple prayer, Allah’s mercy descended. His health was restored, his family returned, and his blessings were multiplied. The test ended, but the lesson remains eternal — patience brings the most beautiful reward.

This lesson introduces one of the most exciting parts of Arabic pronunciation — Tanween (ً ٍ ٌ) — the double vowels that bring rhythm, clarity, and beauty to Quran recitation.

What Kids Learn in This Lesson 🌿

In Lesson 12, children explore:

• Tanween Fath (ً) – the double fatha sound

• Tanween Kasr (ٍ) – the double kasra sound

• Tanween Damm (ٌ) – the double dammah sound

Each form of Tanween changes how a word ends, adding a soft nasal tone that makes Quran recitation flow beautifully.

For example:
📖 كِتَابٌ (Kitaabun) – A Book
📖 رَسُولٍ (Rasoolin) – A Messenger
📖 نِعْمَةً (Ni‘matan) – A Blessing
