Prophet Yunus (AS) was sent to guide the people of Nineveh, a city filled with disbelief and arrogance. Despite his efforts, they rejected his message. Frustrated and heartbroken, Yunus (AS) left them — before Allah commanded him to do so.

From the depths, Yunus (AS) called out:

“La ilaha illa Anta, Subhanaka, inni kuntu minaz-zalimeen.”
There is no god but You; Glory be to You; indeed, I was among the wrongdoers.

Prophet Ilyas (AS) was sent to guide a people who had turned away from Allah and fallen into idol worship. His mission was to remind them of the truth — that only Allah is worthy of worship, and idols hold no power.

The Struggle Against Idolatry

The people of Ilyas (AS) worshipped a false god called Baal, neglecting the commandments of Allah. Despite being blessed with many provisions, they chose to bow to idols instead of showing gratitude to their Creator.

Ilyas (AS) stood firm, calling them back to Allah with wisdom and courage. He reminded them that their idols could not provide, protect, or forgive — only Allah could.

The Rejection of Truth

Sadly, many of his people rejected his message. They mocked and disobeyed him, preferring the ease of their false traditions over the truth of tawheed (the oneness of Allah). Their arrogance eventually brought about Allah’s displeasure.

Prophet Dawud (AS) was chosen by Allah as both a king and a prophet — a leader whose life reflected courage, justice, and devotion. Known for his beautiful voice and recitation of the Zabur (Psalms), Dawud (AS) remains an example of strength balanced with humility.

The Rise of Dawud (AS)

Dawud (AS) was first known for his bravery when he defeated the mighty warrior Jalut (Goliath). With unwavering trust in Allah, a young shepherd boy overcame a giant, proving that victory does not come from size or strength, but from faith.

The King Who Judged with Justice

Allah later made Dawud (AS) a king over Bani Israel. As a ruler, he judged disputes with wisdom and fairness. The Qur’an praises him as a just leader who did not let power corrupt his heart. His example shows that leadership is a trust, not a privilege.

The Psalms: A Gift of Devotion

Allah revealed to Dawud (AS) the Zabur (Psalms), a scripture filled with words of praise and guidance. His recitation was so moving that even mountains and birds joined him in glorifying Allah. His voice was a reminder of the beauty of worship and the power of remembrance.

Prophet Shoaib (AS) was sent by Allah to the people of Madyan, a prosperous community that had fallen into corruption and dishonesty. Known for his wisdom and truthfulness, Shoaib (AS) became the voice of justice among a people drowning in greed.

The people of Madyan were traders and merchants. While Allah had blessed them with wealth, they cheated in their dealings by giving less in measure and weight. Instead of gratitude, they embraced dishonesty, arrogance, and idolatry.

The Call of Shoaib (AS)

With patience and sincerity, Shoaib (AS) called his people to:

• Worship Allah alone

• Stop cheating and stealing in trade

• Live with honesty and fairness

• Show gratitude for the blessings Allah had given

But many rejected his call, mocking him and threatening to drive him out of their city.

When the people continued in disobedience, ignoring Shoaib’s warnings, Allah’s punishment descended. An earthquake struck, and the people of Madyan were destroyed, leaving behind a lesson for all who come after.

When Sulayman (AS) learned of a mighty queen who ruled with strength but worshipped the sun instead of Allah, he sent her a letter, inviting her to Islam. Through this letter, he reminded her of Allah’s sovereignty and the call to worship Him alone.

The Queen, known for her intelligence, did not act rashly. She consulted her advisors, then tested Sulayman (AS) with gifts — but he rejected them, showing that his mission was not about wealth or power, but truth.

By Allah’s will, the throne of the Queen of Sheba was transported to Sulayman’s palace before her arrival. When she saw it, she realized the greatness of Allah’s power. Witnessing Sulayman’s justice, humility, and faith, her heart opened, and she submitted to Allah, embracing Islam.

"I have created you with great care, O Adam," Allah said, looking at His creation. Adam (A.S) was the most special of all creatures, for he could think, speak, and understand.

The First Home: Jannah

Allah placed Adam (A.S) and Hawa (A.S) in a beautiful garden called Jannah—a place full of peace, happiness, and everything they could possibly need. In Jannah, there were rivers flowing with milk, honey, and pure water, gardens filled with the sweetest fruits, and the air was always fresh and cool.

"You may eat from all the fruits in Jannah, except for one tree," Allah told Adam (A.S). "Do not go near it, for if you do, you will become wrongdoers."

The Whispering Devil

However, there was one creature in Jannah who was jealous of Adam (A.S) and Hawa (A.S). His name was Iblis, and he was once a pious being, but his heart became full of pride. Iblis refused to bow down to Adam (A.S) when Allah ordered all the angels to do so. Because of his arrogance, Allah cast him out of Jannah.

But Iblis, being very cunning, did not give up. He whispered to Hawa (A.S), saying, "Why don’t you eat from the tree? Allah did not mean for you to stay away from it forever. If you eat this fruit you will stay forever in Jannah.

Hawa (A.S) felt curious and told Adam (A.S) about the tree. "The devil has said this is good for us," she said. Adam (A.S) was hesitant, but Iblis continued to whisper, deceiving them with his sweet words. Finally, both Adam (A.S) and Hawa (A.S) ate from the tree.

The Consequence: Leaving Jannah

The moment they ate the fruit, they realized what they had done. They felt embarrassed and ashamed. "O our Lord! We have wronged ourselves!" Adam (A.S) cried. "Forgive us, O Allah! We regret our mistake."

Allah, who is always merciful, listened to their repentance. However, there was a consequence. "You have made a mistake, and now you must leave Jannah. You will live on Earth for a time." Allah said. "But I will guide you, and if you follow My guidance, you will return to Jannah."

Life on Earth

And so, Adam (A.S) and Hawa (A.S) were sent to Earth, where they began their new life. Allah gave Adam (A.S) the knowledge of how to live, plant crops, and build homes. He was also given the responsibility to be a prophet to guide people and teach them about Allah’s oneness, kindness, and the right path.

"O children of Adam, I have given you guidance, so follow it," Adam (A.S) would say, teaching his children about the mercy of Allah.

The First Family

As time went on, Adam (A.S) and Hawa (A.S) had children, and their children became the first human beings on Earth. Allah gave them the task to spread peace, work hard, and be kind to others.

They lived a simple, yet fulfilling life, always remembering Allah and following the teachings of Adam (A.S). Allah sent other prophets after Adam (A.S) to continue spreading His message to all people. Each prophet brought guidance for the people, teaching them to follow Allah's path.

The Moral of the Story

The story of Hazrat Adam (A.S) and Hazrat Hawa (A.S) teaches us some very important lessons:

1. Curiosity can sometimes lead to mistakes. It is important to seek knowledge, but also to follow the guidance of Allah and our parents.

2. We all make mistakes, but Allah is always ready to forgive us if we are sincere in our repentance. Adam (A.S) and Hawa (A.S) showed us that seeking forgiveness is the right path when we err.

3. Listening to bad advice can take us away from the right path. We should always remember to stay close to Allah and avoid whispers that lead us away from goodness.

4. Being patient and trusting Allah is key to finding peace and success in this world and the next.

May Allah guide us to always stay on the right path, just like He guided Hazrat Adam (A.S) and Hazrat Hawa (A.S). Ameen.

They had everything—wealth, health, and strength—but they forgot who gave it all to them.

“Why should we believe in one God? We’re strong, we don’t need anyone!” they would say with laughter.

They started worshipping idols made of stone and wood, giving them names, decorating them with flowers, and asking them for help.

But Allah never leaves people without a reminder. So, Allah sent them a prophet from among themselves. His name was Hud (A.S.).

A Brave Voice Among Giants

Hazrat Hud (A.S.) was kind, honest, and wise. He stood in the middle of the town square and called out loudly:

“O my people! Worship Allah alone! You have no god but Him! Why don’t you listen?”

The people turned to him and laughed.

“Hud, are you serious? You want us to stop worshipping our gods because of your words? You think you know better than us?”

But Hud (A.S.) didn’t stop. He went from house to house, speaking gently, reminding them of all the blessings Allah had given.

“Look at the rain that waters your crops. Look at the strong bodies Allah gave you. Look at the mountains you carved into homes. Do you think idols made these things? It is Allah—the One true God!”

But most of the people of Aad refused to believe. They mocked him, rolled their eyes, and shouted:

“We’re strong! We can do whatever we want! Who can stop us?”

Only a small group of people listened to Hud (A.S.) and believed in Allah.

The Warning in the Sky

One day, the skies turned dark—not with night, but with thick black clouds. The people danced and clapped:

“Look! Rain is coming! Our gods have blessed us!”

But Hud (A.S.) looked up with sadness and said:

“No... This is not rain. This is a punishment from Allah. You still have time. Please believe!”

The clouds grew darker, the wind picked up speed, and a terrifying storm began to roar. The wind howled so loudly, it sounded like a wild beast. Trees were ripped out of the ground, houses crumbled like sandcastles, and people were thrown into the air like feathers.

This wasn't an ordinary storm. It was a wind sent by Allah—so powerful, so fierce, it blew for eight long days and seven nights.

Only Hud (A.S.) and the believers were safe. Allah had protected them.

The Land of Giants Turned to Dust

When the storm stopped, the once mighty land of Aad was silent.

The tall mountains stood quiet.

The carved palaces were broken stones.

The proud people were gone.

Hud (A.S.) and his followers quietly left the place and moved to another land, where they lived in peace and worshipped Allah.

Moral of the Story

No matter how strong, rich, or smart we become—everything we have is a gift from Allah.
Worshipping anything other than Allah leads us away from the truth.
Hazrat Hud (A.S.) taught us to stand firm in what is right, even when no one else listens.
