Bayt Al-Quran: Noorani Qaida-Lesson#17|Monday
A Big Milestone in Our Noorani Qaida Journey!
Alhamdulillah! 🎉 Today marks an important milestone in our Noorani Qaida journey — we’ve successfully completed all the Arabic letters with the Fathah vowel! That’s no small feat, and we hope you’re just as excited as we are. Whether you're learning alongside your child or guiding them through each lesson, we hope this journey has been both enriching and enjoyable for you.
In today’s lesson, we’ll pause to revisit and reinforce what we’ve covered so far. We'll go over all the Arabic letters, review their sounds with Fathah, and then dive into reading full words with Fathah for extra practice. It's time to solidify everything we've learned and build confidence before we move forward. Let’s make this revision fun, focused, and full of barakah, inshaAllah!

Let’s Put It All to the Test – Activity Sheet Time!
What’s better than learning? Learning through play! To celebrate this milestone lesson, we’ve created a fun and interactive Activity Sheet just for you and your child. It’s packed with colourful exercises to review all the Arabic letters with Fathah, trace their shapes, match sounds, and read short words — all in a way that feels more like a game than a test.
This sheet is your mini workbook for the week — perfect for hands-on practice, revision, or even a friendly reading challenge at home. So grab some crayons, print it out, and enjoy seeing how much your little one has grown on this Noorani Qaida journey!
Fun Activities for Lesson #17
1. Fathah Flashcard Flip
Make a set of flashcards with all Arabic letters and a Fathah on each. Shuffle them and take turns flipping a card and saying the sound out loud (e.g., بَ، دَ، صَ). For extra fun, set a timer — how many can your child read in 30 seconds? Repeat and try to beat the score!
2. Word Treasure Hunt
Hide small cards around the room with simple 2- or 3-letter words using Fathah (e.g., بَتَ، كَلَ، مَنَ). Each time your child finds a card, they must read the word aloud correctly to “collect” the treasure. Add tiny rewards or stickers for extra motivation!
3. Makharij Mimic Game
Turn articulation practice into a game! Call out a letter with Fathah (e.g., "جَ!") and ask your child to mimic the sound — but with dramatic expressions or actions. For example, make a deep voice for throat letters or puff cheeks for heavy letters.
Learning + laughter = lasting memory!
Your Precious Feedback
How did your child do with Lesson 17? We’d love to hear all about their progress! Whether it's a comment, a snapshot of their worksheet, or a quick video — Teacher Noura can’t wait to celebrate their hard work and send a little note of encouragement, inshaAllah.
As your child masters each letter, they’re building the skills to recognize Arabic letters, connect their shapes with sounds, and understand the beginning and ending sounds in words. Every step they take brings them closer to reading Arabic with confidence and joy. You’re making an incredible impact, nurturing their love for the Quran, one sound, one smile, and one letter at a time. Keep going — this beautiful journey is unfolding because of you!
